Catching up from last weekend:

Theme: Spooky

The grandsons like me to make composites of them, and Halloween gave me a good opportunity with the youngest. Here's the original and the one we created from it.

Minnie, I absolutely love this composite. I'm sure your grandson feels the same. Definitely a poster size wall hanger !!!

He loved it! I had to print him a version to put on his bulletin board in his room.

This week's theme - long exposure.

"Blue Fire"
I tried something extra with this one, a long exposure and camera movement together to do an abstract of the swamp. I was trying to get both the blue hour color and the gold sunrise color in one shot. I haven't really edited it because I'm not sure it would make any difference.

Theme - Simplicity

You know that's kinda foreign to me... Here is a feather I found lying inside a leaf while chasing uncooperative dam birds who insist on fishing in the backflow pond. I think it is kinda simple, at least for me..

Well, for a kitchen sink lady it is simple!

I may try something else before the week is out, but it may not be any simpler due to my own perceptions...

yeah, you failed and need to do this one over again. Is not simple. It may be luxurious, elegant, mysterious, cool, awesome, b/w, feather, light and dark, and any number of other things. But it is not simple. Go take a picture of Frank - that fellow is Simple!

Well, it felt simple, but maybe that is only in relation to something like the piles of junk on Monhegan, the cluttered mess of the swamp, etc.
