Theme: Creative Movement

Got back last night from 5 days at the beach with the kids/grandkids. The 7 year old is a very early riser so he and I went on dawn photo walks every day. He used his trusty cellphone which does not work for calls anymore but still has a functional camera. He got into setting this one up, running at different speeds in different directions to get a set, then we picked the one that best blurred him but not much else. This was our choice.

Slow down there buddy !!! Nice capture Minnie, shows just the right amount of movement, good choice.

love the green shirt image - you have captured green lightning, a 7 year old superhero that will change the world. It might be fun to composite other green shirted versions onto this to show his incredible speed and energy.

Thanks. "Green lightning" is always a willing participant in art projects.

I wanta see yours Dave, from that night. I have a long way to go figuring out how to do those kinds of images and still compensate for the shortcomings of my equipment. It can be done, I've seen other peoples' results, but I need to figure out what steps they took.

Low Light (for Oct 21, running late due to week in Jamaica for wedding)

Sneak shot of son and bride between ceremony and wedding dinner, blue hour-ish.
