Project 52Matt's Second Project 52: Windows, stairs and doors

The goal of Project 52 is to take a photo a week. This is an easier pace than the Project 365.

Matt's Second Project 52: Windows, stairs and doors

#52-10: A well-used door

A family nearby is renovating a large house from the mid 1770s that has "good bones." While the workmen have stacked some of the old doors and windows against trees and fences in the yard. They are for sale since the owners are installing new ones to tighten the insulation. With permission, I wandered the property and used my best camera, the one at hand: my Sony RX 100. Matt

Great detail on that old wood and its fixtures. Like the dappled light as well. I think you might get a lot of interesting shots there as they continue their work.

Nice. I like the angle with which you show the other architectural lines viewed within the doors. This takes the shot past being an image of doors, and into the world of geometry.
