I like your placement of the sun behind the peak of the mill here, letting the glow spread out from there. I might have tried more from the right but as you sometimes say, there is always a reason, and if the photographer is skillful, the viewer doesn't know what the reason is for sure.
Thank you, Minnie. Yes, there was a reason, but I have forgotten it. Matt

Matt's Spinner 52: #7, The Street

My wife has been confined to the house due to her broken shoulder, so we took a slow drive and moseyed into this resort where the 1% must spend some summer time. And this just be their cobblestoned street. It's plowed so some folk must live there year-round. Maybe there's golf nearby. Too cold for fishing.

Do I detect another Matt-Does-Textures image? I like it a lot. The texture is well suited for the image, applied with a light touch, and really enhances the images in my opinion.

Yes, got carried away. Textures are terrible temptations. Like chocolate. And scotch. Thanks. Matt

Matt's Spinner 52: #8, A Frame within a Frame

That's what the wheel decided. So, I went out in search and saw this at an Estate Sale this early morning.

A frame indeed. I do believe she'd look better with her frame squared up and straightened to fit the"frame"!

I like the reflection you got in it, and the contrasting red/blue of the door/sky.

I will go back and try better. I tried before with little success. Matt
