Matt's Spinner 52: #2, Dawn's Light

A selfie with what was left of dawn's early light by the time I was mobile.

I am a few weeks behind, but I have the photos and will post soon.
I like this a lot, Matt! So much left to our imaginations + just a cool study of shadows and lines.
Thank you, Linda. I took about 6 and this was the most appealing, but I am not sure why. Matt

Matt's Spinner 52: #1, Metal

I got "Metal" when I spun the wheel.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful...and is expected to be so for the rest of the week. So I'll stay inside.

This is the engine from our son's Lionel train set which is about 50 years old or so, given to him by an aunt after her son died while learning to fly in a one-engine plane. Our son has left it at our house; the grandson now plays with it when they come. Before packing it away for another year, I decided this might do for this week's assignment. Matt pM Exports-.jpg
Cool image Matt! And great processing choice for the old Lionel. I’m so glad you’re pressing on to keep up with your projects. Time invested in learning is always a good thing, though.

I don’t know that I could add in another track either, but it might be tempting. The new PS tool for extracting things is supposed to be great, maybe we oughta give it a try...

(“Minnie made me do it” - ha :D )
Feel free, m'am. Then I can say "Minnie did it." Matt

With my trusty iPhone. First ever panorama. I get dizzy just looking at this. Yuk. Matt

The best camera you have is the one you have with you.

if all else fails, the camera or computer or wifi - there is still the phone and the network. Good for you!

It makes me dizzy too though.

Actually, Minnie, it's an old mill on Paines Creek. There is a tiny peek of the wheel on the bottom right of the building. But it IS classic. Thanks. Matt

Matt's Spinner 52: #5, Selfie

Our tea kettle sprung a leak so we got a new one yesterday and used it for the first time this morning. That's me there with my trusty Sony Cybershot. Matt

I like that selfie and that old mill, the panorama makes me dizzy and I'm glad not to be by the railing. And the pot... a new selfie, is not flattering, the shape of the pot makes the girth look great - great as in big, not as in good!!!! LOL
