#32 takes me back to Lunken Airport Days.

The EAA will have their touring Flying Fortress – B 17 “ Aluminum Overcast “ on the ramp from August 31- September 3, giving rides and tours “Aluminum Overcast is an example of the American heavy bomber that helped turn the tide of World War ll. You can see and tour this historic aircraft – and actually fly a mission. The B-17 had mechanical problems and was not able to show. However, I did have the honor to meet an actual B-17 bomber pilot. I took a few pictures and bought an amazing autographed book that I'm still in the reading process. Here is a link to part of his story. http://www.theygaveitall.org/#/herb-heilbrun/
Also I'm in the process of completing a couple composites of Herb that I will post at some point. This one is not a composite, just a B&W conversion.

A stunning tribute Dave. Haunting. The eyes capture and hold you. Notable how neat his uniform is. Well done. Matt

Wonderful image full of character. Have you ever thought about compiling these images into a book? I bet it would sell like hotcakes among those who celebrate at these events. Thanks for the link to his story, too.

Thanks Minnie !!! A book crossed my mind a few times, but thats as far its gone. My main concern with that, would be model releases, which I don't have and probably would need in order to sell books. Now just to have a photo book for my own personal use wouldn't require one. I appreciate the thought to consider a book selling image quality.

#33 and here is a possible series I may start for myself for a later date. People loading and unloading on a variety of public transportation. This image may not be a first, but it is a first for the thought.

I still may be one week behind, so in order to play catch up, I may cheat?
