#37 puts me back on Dauphin Island where I encountered a surfer. We all had a brief chat with him to discover we shared the same name. This post processing is way out of my norm. However, I am enjoying the variety that I shied away from for so long.
Both are good, but the first is very cool with that great New Dave Chinn signature treatment.

Thanks Minnie !!! He was the perfect capture for the environment at the time. I'm not sure how long this style of PP will be around for me. It all came by accident. I still have some issues needing ironed out.

I'm still a few behind, so I will post this image for #38. On the beach in Galveston, Texas of my three year old granddaughter's foot and hand.

These 3 are wonderful images that capture the spirit of Two. The is a beauty, with those eyes and curls. But you got more than a pretty kid, you got the wonder and inquisitiveness of that special age.

Thanks Minnie !!! She was shy with us, and as should be, since this was only the second time we've seen her. Makes it rather hard at 1,000 miles and 15 hours away. We did toss around the idea of a Texas move, but that's as far it went. Too many local issues at the moment to consider such a move.

Week 40 and I will take you back to my navy reunion. I've been attending my ships naval reunions since 2008. They are semiannual and held in various locations. The overall attendance have been in the 200 hundred range, but the group I personally know have grown from 12 to 18. Which makes these reunions more enjoyable to attend with 18 that I know vs 200 that I don't know. Posted is a composite I put together using the ship, USS America for a background. I'm also posting the original image of the group. The first group image was taken by me and the second was taken by my wife. I obviously placed myself in the first group image because, to me, was a more acceptable straight on image than the angled one. It was hard getting everyone in the frame is why the angled shot was taken. Knowing I had to make improvements prior to posting here and onto the groups facebook page for all to view.

Great creative way to turn a kind of image that is of necessity somewhat boring in spite of its great value into a work of art! That's just wonderful. I know they all love it! You may have to make a larger version available to them via dropbox or similar so they can make prints.
