I think he is just saying what he spun on the spinner as his first "assignment" for Week#1 of 2018. This particular 52 let's you design your own 52 or you can spin to see what you get. Sounds like Steve got "soft light" - maybe that's where he is right now!

I'm gonna do the spinner just because it's fun. My assignment for this week will be "frame within a frame". I hope to get out this afternoon or tomorrow and chase something that fits (plus whatever else I can find in 19 degree temps!)

Pretty soft, right? You crack me up!

I just walked in so I'll see what gifts the morning brought and post in a few! S-

Soft light, loud noise. Did it follow you in?
I will go for a spin now.

I was drawn to the beauty of the rooster's feathers and was shooting him face up but liked this more.

You inspire me! S-

I presume that will be your chicken dinner. Have someone take a picture of you plucking the feathers. Or chasing it into the corner.

I spun and got Metal. Stay tuned for this one. Matt

Oh I absolutely love this one. I have never, ever seen a chicken or any part thereof photographed this way before. Bonus points for original thinking as well as for turning in your assignment early! The colors, the soft blue toned light, the sharp rich near detail giving way to a wonderful defocused backside - this is great.
