Oh I absolutely love this one. I have never, ever seen a chicken or any part thereof photographed this way before. Bonus points for original thinking as well as for turning in your assignment early! The colors, the soft blue toned light, the sharp rich near detail giving way to a wonderful defocused backside - this is great.
Mr. Rooster was so beautiful I had to get a shot, this was a bonus and the more I looked the more I liked it.

Thank you! S-

Spinner, Spinner, it's a Still Life for me!

Seems easy enough, but I haven't done one so this may be more of a challenge than I expect. Bring It I Say! S-

Oh my. That's really beautiful. The light is just wonderful and you chose a really good angle. I never knew you were a still life kind of guy, but your eye for light and shape serves you well.

It was a 'mistake' in a way, holding the shutter longer than expected, but was pleased when I saw the image and that light.

You have to love a happy accident! S-

Thank you! I'm not sure if I cheated or not, but I really like that soft light and thought it would work well.

I'm really enjoying this! S-
