Re: Nikodian1 52 - Week 19
Not a lot of time this weekend, housework got in the way!
A seagull inspecting beach goers belongings for maybe a chip! (it was a big zoom as I didn't want to look suspicious!)
And a rose, not a lot in the garden at the moment! plus husband let loose with his secateurs this morning!

Nice shots Jenny.
That seagull does look like it's in search of a bit of food to steal.

Jenny, nice rose shot. You might want to think about cropping the image to remove the bottom rose. IMHO, the single rose makes for a very nice, sharp, crisp composition.
The seagull picture made me smile. You can almost hear it saying "Which one of those bags should I go after first?".

Thanks WesternGuy, I wasn't sure about the edit on the rose, I did have the top rose only, then changed my mine! Will go back and take it out again as I agree it will look better.
I took this image with my Nikon f1.8 50mm lens.
The other is just a fun shot, taken at the full 300mm zoom end of my lens, hand held.

Up bright & Early at 6.20am on a Saturday Morning!
Sitting out the back yard enjoying the quiet and decided to get the camera and catch some dew drops.
Then a 7.30am back inside playing with lightroom.
Played around with a very old picture of Zali, experimenting with black & white! hmmmmmmm not really sure on this subject.
I then re-edited my rose with the crop that Western Guy suggested and played around a little more with some other settings.
