#52-97: Boarded window

Matt
Love this geometry shot.
Thanks Minnie.

The window is on a barn which is in the process of being renovated to serve as a rehearsal space for the Cape Rep Theatre where we saw Momma Mia Wednesday night. Better than the movie and worth Broadway. The theater seats 129 and we were five rows back. I am still humming "The Winner Takes It All." A glorious evening. Matt

#52-98: Shadows on a door

Matt
Oh, that's nice Matt. You are following the light again here. The contrast between highlighted areas and deep shadows provides mystery and the small details in the well lit spots catch our eye.
Thanks Minnie. The door stopped me dead as I walked back to my car after trying again, unsuccessfully, to shoot the waterfall. A gift of the setting sun. Matt

Excellent, Matt. You managed to get the detail of metal and rope, and the background of OOF boats in a really nice composition that showcases the light. That’s your gift, spotting these nuances of light and finding ways to present them.
