For those of you who do not know, the mama Killdeer fiercely protect their nests and when they feel their eggs are being threatened they run away from the nest and act like they are injured with a broken wing so a predator will think they are easy prey. Here is a shot of "mom" getting mad when I took pictures of her eggs in the nest this morning.

It looks fine now Laura. Perhaps Duck's work has fixed this too?

I took a walk through the George Bush Presidential Library gardens this week. I saw these leafy plants and thought they would make an interesting image at the right angle and DoF.
