My first Texas Wildflowers of 2016...Indian Paintbrush in Anderson TX.

I had never seen a Cedar Waxwing until a few days ago...SO worth the wait!

I just returned from a 4-day workshop photographing Texas Wildflowers with Allen Rokach, former senior photographer of Southern Living Magazine. What a great four days! I learned so much and met 14 other photographers who enjoy nature photography as much as I do.

Here is my attempt at a early evening backlit flower...well, likely a weed! :lol:
