Project 52Minnie's 2020 52 Project

The goal of Project 52 is to take a photo a week. This is an easier pace than the Project 365.

This week's theme - Water Drops, bubbles, splashes

I didn't try an experiment with water drops this time, but may before the week is over. My initial creation was shot in my holly bush in the rain a couple of days ago, then overlaid with a shot of a bowl of dish detergent bubbles. Then fiddled with in Photoshop and given a frame of old paper and doilies. These little challenges do keep my camera from rusting shut.

This week's theme is Composites and Collages.

Since I make composites so much I decided to make a collage using the same theme as my recent post on Organ Pipe NM. I used an old engraving from the monument from the 1800s, an old illustration from some of its botanical specimens, some of my photos, some textures and some text. Just trying to learn to weave things together.... I'm wondering if I should make the images monochrome or tone them in the background color...

the bottom left image comes forward (due to the color) - perhaps leave it alone except to fade the straight line in it. The flowers on the right also come forward due to the color, but it is spectacular like flowers sitting on a window shelf. The top right image needs to be toned or faded to bring it into the background (methinks).
