Re: Not exactly a texture, not really a composite - just a lot of fun

Wow, just Wow! I think you've found your thing! I love this and how you came upon it, but wonder what made you think to put the two together? So beautiful! S- Thanks so much, Steve! I'm delighted you enjoyed. I think it was because the original daisy photo was already blurred and the after-edited b...

Two from this morning

1. An official greeter at McDonald's! I might have to add a reflection of the Golden Arches in my side mirror

2. Redwing blackbird, painting effect. I used to think they were the advanced scouts of spring; now I know they live here year round :)

Thanks for looking!

Re: Image quality comparison, please

Linda, if there is a difference, I can't see it on the monitor I'm currently using. It's a work monitor and not really set up for graphics, though we do a lot of work in a graphic environment. We're just not all that critical about color and contrast. I was mostly looking at sharpness. --Bob Your t...

Then that's your style, I guess, Linda, and a good one. I really like your work; it's thoughtful, careful, sensitive, deliberate and, now and then, off the chart. So, there you are. Matt
Very gracious and lovely of you to say, Matt.

Re: Bicycle

I wondered about cropping a bit from the left, seems like a stronger statement of repeating patterns and shapes. Maybe a little more drama with light and contrasts?

Re: Angels and Art

So unique and wonderful! I can't help but think of the museum as "mother ship" :) Agree with all Minnie's points, though as always she says so much better - and points out things I didn't even realize I was seeing and loving.

(on which looks better) Gosh Linda. They are so similar. If I have to do that, then I'll pick the first. If only that the tree to the right of the barn has more detail. I think what is more important, is that TO YOU which one describes the scene as you remember it? Have fun! I can't really see any ...

It's fun to see this topic continue, and I enjoyed all the recent entries very much. Sometimes I feel I should buckle down as Matt suggests above to "search for a style." But I'm nearly 100% sure I'm just going to keep dabbling and exploring and creating whatever strikes my fancy on a given day :)
