I didn't hardly notice the hexagonal lights until mentioned. Being a bird owner myself I find this to be a great portrait maybe a tad on the over sharpened side but that could be natural.

Yes, the teeth are way too bright. They eyes want to go to the brightest thing in the image and with the teeth so many stop brighter then the eyes and face it is the teeth that draw ones attention. I'm not sure if the eyes need to be lighted or not so I'd start with getting those teeth more into the...

Thanks for that. :) I already do similar to them, a slightly different process but similar results... I tend not to recolor eyes though.... Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I just did it here to see if it made a difference and using a natural color from her own eyes did kind of enhance the col...

I use Photo Shop so don't know the steps in other tools. Make a general selection of the eyes - above the eye brows and about as much below the eyes. Under "Layer" "New" "Layer via copy". This will give you a new layer of the eyes you selected. With that new layer selec...
