Abstract

I pulled my camera out of the bag yesterday after a shoot and found the shutter was open. Have no idea how it happened or what went on but this is what I found. Kind of interesting I think.

Thanks... I couldn't get out that white cast but guess I need to spend more time burning and adjusting contrast more.

I'm using Photo shop and don't know what tools you have. In PS I ensure the "Information" pallet/window is open. Then select the eye dropper tool and move it over the brighter spots of her face. I see that the reds are in the upper 100's to low 200's value range (like 190 - 205). This valu...

Here I copied the base layer and changed its mode to "Screen". Then lowered the opacity to taste. Next I added a mask and brought back the under exposed curtain background. It just looked better dark. :) Then made a loose selection of her eyes and copied that to a new layer. Added a heavy ...

Also short lighting would have eliminated the shadow across her forehead and cheek caused by her hair. I would also bring up the ambient light in the room to close down the pupils of her eyes.
