Re: A Somewhat Political Photo Story - Organ Pipe National Monument

Sad, sad, sad !!!

I'm so gullible that there was a time I believed EVERYTHING I read, heard or was told. I have improved some. I NOW don't believe anything until I can verify the source, so don't expect much from me because I will only ask WHY !!!

Re: Yes, it is a Pain

Minnie, I don't want to speak too soon. The site seems to be working now, or maybe just a coincidence? I'll keep my fingers crossed for a little while.

Re: 'Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay'

Oooo, Dave! This one pulled me in. It felt ominous at first, then the white boats seemingly unaffected implied “we got this, no need to worry.” So then I had to explore every pixel as to why this fortress of a town, muscled pier, and fearless clutch of sea goers were safe against the powers of natu...

Re: 'Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay'

Since I don't have anything new (as of yet) to post, I'll just continue where I left off and post some more of Monhegan. This is one of many taken with the fisheye lens. Some images taken with the fisheye just don't do much for me, but this one I rather like. What say you? I like this unusual image...

Re: Yes, it is a Pain

We are waiting for Duck to find time to do a software update. Steve and I have looked at it and it's a bit complicated. We are afraid tinker with it for fear we will shut down the whole forum. That has happened once, so we are well aware of what bumbling around in the backside can do! The exact sam...

Re: 'Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay'

like what you did here, wrapping up the circle, and turning the straight into a curve, it feels really good. Thanks Piet. It's always an experiment when I use this lens. Probably because I have high expectation of it and don't achieve the results I was wanting, but sometimes I am satisfied as such ...

Re: 'Memories'

No description required. A color version was in the works but the B&W won out. Take on the dock at Monhegan Island. Definitely a sneak shot! I’ll have to see what other goods I’ve got on Dave. I do look like the cat that swallowed the canary. Monhegan was so much fun! Gene got a kick out of this on...

Re: 'Memories'

Couple of characters I watch out for if I was you Dave...well processed good job with the RiffRaff - the one looks like she stole a camera, and they both look like they will beat you with their canes. Way to sneak that shot in!! Thanks Piet, sometimes I get caught and when I do, the damage has alre...
