Re: School Girl Waiting

A unique point of view that seems to work very well. I'm lovin' the processing with this and other images you have applied this styled technique. I should put Cuba on my bucket list.

Re: Over the Rims

Not overworked IMO Frank. I think this is well composed, composition and processing are very pleasing. I love the soft focus and I hope to see more.

You and your grandson seem to be on the same wave link. I may yet still be in the first grade because it works for me. I like the procedure !!!

Minnie, your artistic ability never ceases to attract my attention of subject matter I have hardly any interest. The composition & depth of field keeps MY focus on the subject and creates a pleasing image to view. I'm not sure if you have applied a canvas layer, but what ever it is sorta shows a sli...

Frank, I'm not quite sure about this image, I think mostly it's because of her expression. She appears to be confused and or lost. I'm sure this was a quick candid shot but a combination of other shots would have given you a better choice of selection. Just my thoughts and opinion. Although, I do li...

Re: City view

This reminds me of "The Day the Earth Stood Still", probably because of the tone and the emptiness of the image, which for me, has an eerie characteristic appeal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6iF5sINVns The processing of both images (yours and Minnie's) captures my attention. Well done, I love i...

Re: 'Johnny Bench'

These are great. I have baseball knitted inside of me from watching it at all levels for 30 years, so of course this appeals to me. I prefer the second because I can see the baseball story in his eyes - the memories and also the sadness that never completely leaves after they can't do it any more. ...

I prefer the first...both well done but the first has a live feel to it which seems to add some impact for me.

Thanks for your input Frank. Seems it's probably subjective between the two and that's understandable.

'Johnny Bench'

As a kid, my favorite sport was baseball. The neighbor kids and I would pretend to be certain ballplayers when playing backyard ball and my favorite was Frank Robinson. Today as an adult, I have only a select few considered as favorites and Johnny Bench is at the top of my list. The Findlay Market 2...
