Re: Vampires Can Be Seen At Dawn

I'm finally getting around to posting the versions I have of this very unusual threesome. My curiosity of them strolling along ever so mysteriously in the early morning hours gives me the impression of a previous long night of a hard social gathering and unique entertainment. He snarled at me as we...

Re: Matt's Second Project 52: Windows, stairs and doors

Project 52 ⇒ Matt's Second Project 52: Windows, stairs and doors #52-13: Front door to Dillingham House Dillingham House, built in the 1660s, is the second oldest on the cape. I don't know about the color or whether this is the original door but I do know the old tree on the edge of the property by...

Re: Matt's Second Project 52: Windows, stairs and doors

Project 52 ⇒ Matt's Second Project 52: Windows, stairs and doors #52-12: Window web Taken through an old window covered with cob webs. Matt Love this web-abstract. I’ve been sort of addicted to taking pictures of webs lately. You’ve done a good job here in using the through-the-window approach to i...

Re: Minnie's 52

Minnie, I used BW 01 for this one, but I don't get the range or snap you do. Matt The one I used for this one was towards the bottom, then I tinkered: more clarity, more contrast, blacker blacks, whiter whites. Pushed it as far as it would go till it started creating too much noise. I do like this ...

Re: Minnie's 52

Minnie, I was introduced to grits by a southern gentleman about 20 years ago and still remember him chuckling as I stared at the dry surface until he alerted me to the lake of butter below. I spooned down; by damn that was good. My arteries are still clogged. Love the range of tones in Metal. Wish ...

Re: Rusty stuff

Minnie, The wood looks too yellow for me, but the may be its real tone. I am used to the grays here on the Cape from all the salt air. Like the composition; it confirms some that I have taken and gives me support. Thanks. Matt I'm wondering too, is it my eyes or does the depth of field fall off on ...

Re: Help!!! Needed Re: Image Sales

They settled on metal though I tried to push toward acrylic after I saw the location. I required a deposit since I have to pay the whole amount up front for metal, and that has created a problem. But I’m afraid to proceed and risk them deciding at delivery that they don’t want them. The things are ...
