Re: Walk With Me Again - Companion Image

Thank ya Duck. I'll try warming the bridge a bit more. ... I wanted to try something I wouldn't normally do so I hope you don't mind but I tinted it a little. And I'm curious, have you thought to make a 4-piece Warhol with the opposing seasons? S- I have considered a 4 season set but haven't done i...

Re: A Hobos Luck

A well spotted catch, I'd have had to shoot it too. Nicely composed with an angle that makes it more interesting and easier to read, including enough context to help us understand what we're seeing. The processing isn't what I'd have chosen but it's well done. My own interpretation would have probab...

Re: The Bird-Watcher

Looks good to me minniev....all personal taste but maybe some crop in from the left and up from the bottom just to make him a touch more prominent... Thanks, Frank, I wondered about cropping but also wanted to show how "brave" he was in climbing the "tree". That's my sense of it...

Re: Yakima Dawn

Interesting image. It's appealing in its softness and muted grays, like an old photograph. It could be Winter in Yakima 1950. More contrast would make it boring. It's nice just as it is.

Re: Machinery

Lots of interesting detail in this wonderful old rusted piece of machinery. I would think it might make a nice monochrome conversion candidate, too, and would yield some interesting opportunities.

You're right about that! When he heard I was taking him to see my bird photos, he immediately got gussied up in his bird-watching gear.

Re: Another Prairie Sentinal

Another beauty. I do see why this one might not have fit with the others I've seen previously, as it is more like a pastel - tinted photo printed on canvas and less of the mix of pen and ink drawing and watercolor wash like the others. The wide variety in your work is amazing. I hope you're still ad...

Glad you like the Same Old Thing, Chuck. The planks are wobbly, and they were very slippery that morning due to the heavy frost which you can see a bit of in the photo.

Re: And the strong silent ones began to talk

Lyrics from "Spontaneous Apple Creation", the Crazy World of Arthur Brown. If you remember this, then you are familiar with psychedelic worlds (still some of my favorites). That is an interesting and dramatic interpretation, with a lot of mystery. Care to tell us how you created this effe...
