St Francis Examines His Bulldozer

I have taken pictures of St. Francis before, but he doesn't do much, and he's kinda small. Also, he is homely: his head is a little flattened like they took him out of the concrete mold too soon and he sunk a bit. I caught him looking quizzically at the dirt mover the boys left with him last weekend...

Re: B737-300

It makes a wonderful abstract but the processing is what takes it to a new level. I don't know what to call it - a little vintage, a little painterly, but I'd love to know what you did.

Both are very powerful and moving. Strong emotional story. You do such a good job at capturing moments in these events and turning them unexpectedly into art.

Re: Where the Buffalo Roam

This is an interesting and creative color rendition that showcases the light. It has bit of a vintage-color-film look I've always wanted to go to TR, once almost got there but got sick in Great Falls and had to cut the trip short. Something about your buffalo reminded me of another photographer's bu...

Re: Another Chair

Both are nice, but I like the first for that creative use of shadow as a compositional element.

Recent ones.
These are great, the first for the story, and the second because it’s just a perfect piece of photographic art.

Re: Kite_surfing

This is the most spectacular of your kite surfer pictures. I love it. I didn't think they'd do well in monochrome but you've proved me wrong. Wow!

I've been re reading some words from Arnold Newman:

"Throughout history many in the arts have made up golden rules and laws of composition, yet not one great image has ever been created by their application"

Best regards, Ernst
Words worth remembering.

Re: Help!!! Needed Re: Image Sales

What Duck Said. Do some home work. Find out how many they want and what their budget is. Then come back with options. Gallery Wraps, Color prints mounted and framed, BW prints matted and framed. Price it for very good profit with wiggle room to come down just a bit. Thanks. I’m working on a list of...
