Re: A Somewhat Political Photo Story - Organ Pipe National Monument

Here is a good link to some objective reporting from BBC https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-51449739, with pictures of the construction project. I have found that British media tells me more what is going on here than ours does. On the scale of things, BBC isn't that politically biased either...

Re: Fixed!: NIK Silver Efex, PS 2019 and High Sierra

I hate to buy a new version of the NIK filters if nothing is new in them. I'd rather just get my version, which I paid for before Google bought it and gave it away free, to work. I'll buy the new version if the new owners ever do anything to improve it. But every time I tried to access the filters ...

Re: 'Behind Closed Doors'

Truth be known, when I first noticed this couple, her scarf was covering her nose & mouth. I wanted a shot of just that and her eyes of course, but before I could get a shot off. This is what I witnessed instead, which is fine by me as well. It was an intimate moment that could not be resisted, whi...

Re: 'Country Cowboy'

Taken at Keeneland horse racetrack 2018 in Lexington, Ky. While there I couldn't help but notice many with cigars and/or cheroots. This is one of three I captured that caught my attention and have already posted one. As always, experimenting with the camera and post processing. Both seem to go hand...

Re: The Maroon Bells trail head

A lot of the trails were closed when we were there because the first snow, which was 6-8 inches and quickly turned to ice in places, had made them too treacherous for average folks like me who didn't have crampons on their boots. They opened this one up around noon, and this is where it started. Th...

Re: Fantasy Fingerwork

I've been watching lessons on compositing and a bunch of skills new to me were introduced in this round of tutorials. I had to practice so I wandered through a fantasy that got weirder with every brush stroke, but here it is. Not really asking for critique but any advice about tools/etc. You should...
