ponder and study
and see, look until you see
dinner forgotten

nothing easy then
how can effortless art flow?
but art IS effort

then a step forward
then the starving artist eats
a happy soft smile

Perfect!

[...] As for the eatery, it was in the process of being torn down to make way for a new construction project. [...] Thanks. --Bob Gotcha. The fact it was being torn down got lost on me. A shame because the place does have character. I feel your frustrations regarding situations like this one. I enc...

Re: FingerWork

Minnie, I am always envious of your texture work. It is something I can't do easily and have a hard time pre visualizing. There is a lot I love about this image but I find the orange jars rather intrusive, compositional speaking. You have placed the bowl of fruit as the primary subject in this gorge...

Re: Best New Menu

Sorry Bob, but I'm going to be the nay sayer on this one... Not that it doesn't have potential. The subject, colors and composition make for an interesting photo but what really detracts is the overlay of texture on texture. Fabulous. Great texture, light and dof. Magical. Matt
Thank you, Matt. This one will get printed and hung up in my studio. I'm very happy with the results.

Re: If I could read music...

Good on you! I don't have that kind of coordination. If I were ever to try a musical instrument it would love to learn either be the bagpipes or the hurdy gurdy. I've always had an affinity for these two. Or the bodhrán on the percussion end of musical instrument. Unfortunately I have other interest...
