Re: Website building is hard work

I figure it's time for a little update on this never-ending project. I am currently expanding my services and have launched a newsletter to gain some exposure (and hopefully some credibility) with many of the small businesses and restaurants in my geographical area. I am using Smugmug for lack...

Re: Location # 3 - Railroads and Rain

That's a very good point. I think it'll help even more on my Felix project. I think doing an extra layer of outline edges even after the whole thing is completed and blending it back down selectively in certain areas may be something worth trying?? Re: Location # 3 - Railroads and Rain

Not knowing the details of the action and how the layers are structured I will give this hint. Certain layers can be duplicated to strengthen the look. For example, many "pencil" or "sketch" layers can be stacked to increase the contrast and strength of the lines. Explore that possibility to see if ...

Re: 'Gun Control vs Photo Bomb'

My apologies to all those Stateside, but being an out of towner. I find the idea that anyone can carry a lethal weapon offensive. Kind regards; I was under the impression that the US and Australia has a similar history with guns and the taming of the wilds. In the US it's the settlers moving west w...

All I could think was, "this is either a very brave knight or a very dumb knight," for opening up his defenses to the snake like that.

I've been hanging out too long with the reenactors.

Great image, by the way.

Re: My growing collection

It's good to see that images are being printed and framed. Too many lie quietly within the digital confines of a disc drive that it doesn't make sense. A photograph comes to life when it's printed.
