And I'm okay with that. It's what makes you who you are. Your images speak for themselves and there's no denying you have made some really awesome images.

Re: Subdued Sunset

Thanks and good point. I wanted the tombstones to show up but that light above them is a little TOO light. I used to struggle with this all the time, wanting to have everything within the image to have the same weight of importance. I have since learned that's not the way others look at our images....

Re: Subdued Sunset

Very pleasing composition. I'm actually liking the subdued colors of the sky. I would suggest you look at the three light spots below the horizon line as it's pulling my eyes down and out of the frame. A little burning will help coax the eye back into the frame. Otherwise, it's a really gr...

Holy cow, I'm loving the second version. I think you lost too much of the bench but I'm really digging the look of this one!

Re: A lovely Bug

Finding the right field of focus on something this small is very tricky indeed. Like others, I think you found a nice compromise between showing the right amount of detail and creating an artistic presentation. Re: Work boots

Love it as a product type of shot - but I would really like to see you get an atmospheric shot of the boots that these new boots are replacing!!! I'm not fully understanding the comment. Do you mean like a used pair on a job site? If so, there is the problem of obtainability. I only had access to n...

Re: decks have straight lines

Fantastic. I even like the "not straight" lines. It all works well to set the tone of the image.

Re: Wedding shot, help needed

[...] I actually tried to use the range masks in LR on this one (LR is all I had with me, on my ipad) but I'm not very capable with them yet. They do show promise, but I'll need more practice. Do you use them? I have used range masks but on very select images. They do have their use but only for sp...

Work boots

I had the opportunity to shoot some work boots for a new marketing client. Unfortunately the client ended up losing their account which meant I lost the job. This didn't stop me from making a new portfolio piece for myself. Check it out... Unitas_Photography-6928.jpg While I may have lost this job, ...
