Re: Spring Sunrise

Thanks Guys,
Group up on these waters and it was great to finally capture an image that portrayed my feeling for it. Glad you liked it.

Re: Winds Project 52

Week 23/52 With two cameras swamped in dirt I used the Canon 50D the cleaner of the two for these shots. Kite surfing IMG_6619.jpg water sports and being on the beach are definitely my preferred image capture at the moment. Tried something a little different with one of my Kite Boarding Buddies. Sho...

Re: Sensor Cleaning

Cheers guys, Good to hear you have been all doing it for a while. Don't worry you tube has been my friend and a great source of confidence building information. The only issue now is to patiently wait for my internet purchases arrive. It really sucks to be unable to purchase anything local. Seems li...

Sensor Cleaning

Just wandering how many of you attempt to clean your own sensors. Have just ordered some swabs and brushes to go at it myself. Without a local go to guy and taking my camera where I do it's time I learn.
I have a 5dmkiii and a 50D and both have major amounts of dirt.
Any tips or experiences to share.

Re: Winds Project 52

week 22/52 I have had too put the 5D mkiii out to rest while I wait for some much needed sensor cleaning, now visible at the widest of apertures. Broke out the 50D out of retirement for these kite surfing captures. One noticeable difference between the two is the ability to modify the focal point an...

Re: Winds Project 52

Very nice. I like the second image best of the two - it has a certain peaceful tranquility to it . My only comment I would make is that I would be tempted to clone out the tree at the waters edge on the left, middle part of the image, but then that is just me and I tend to a lot more fussy than a l...

Re: Winds Project 52

It is neat that our seasons are different felt like it might snow this winter. All I know is if it had it would have made it interesting. Glad it is over and spring has sprung.
