Thanks for your comments everyone I do appreciate them, The area I live in is semi desert - very harsh light most days so I do love to visit the river as often as I can to be able to capture the more subtle lighting and landscapes that are there.

Thanks guys, I have to say I was quite impressed with the overall results - Ive since printed both of the shots and I really impressed with the results, my printer is nothing fancy, Brother J4120DW, but the results are very pleasing.
