Re: Long Exposure Experiment

I have to go with ‘smashing success’. You accomplished what you set out to do and the lighting on the pier is great. The upcoming sun made for some very nice orange tones without being excessive anywhere in the image.

Print and hang.

Re: Delayed In Denver

You are quite welcome. It really is an interesting place. I marvel at what appears to be a huge plastic bubble overhead and wonder how they keep the place warm with snow on the ground. Warm is relative in this part of the country though. It is not uncommon for people here to be in short sleeves and...

Re: The Front Gate

My problem is that I save almost everything that isn't horribly out of focus or a complete waste of space. Some day when I don't have a full time job plus 11 kids to deal with, plus our home-based sock business, I might have time to cull out the unfixable and spend some time learning Photoshop and ...

Re: Greetings.

Yes, a great place to start is in the Quick Links . Another useful tool is to monitor the Recent Posts section at the top of the Index page. A lesser known tool that is pretty powerful also is the Advanced Search function. Click on the gear icon in the search bar to access the advanced search funct...

Re: The Front Gate

We have eerily similar thought process Steve and I'm not convinced that I 'need' bigger, better, OR faster just to fill up ye old hard drive faster. I'm doing a decent job of finding out how small 2 terrabytes is already. :) I keep looking but I'm not there yet, someday soon! S- My problem is that ...

Re: Delayed In Denver

That is one view that I have never seen and I've been in DIA more than a couple of times. :) Great perspective! Thank you so much! The Denver Airport is an amazing place to take photos if your not in a rush. This is one of many! S- You are quite welcome. It really is an interesting place. I marvel ...

Re: The Front Gate

I firmly believe that to be true and had to explain to my friend that one needed to have the tongue firmly planted in the cheek to read the CPP thing. I've wanted a new camera for years but have decided to keep what I have until I can prove I need more than what it offers. I need to improve, not my...

Re: Three flowers.

Happy 50th and thank you for sharing these! S- I wish I were 50 again, my knees were in much better shape ten years ago but thanks anyway and I appreciate the fact that you like my humble offerings. The fun part really is taking something that is fairly ordinary and turning it into something specia...
