Re: Dave's Project 52

Here it is week #3 of my project 52 and do wonder if I'm gonna be able to keep up. Time moves rather quickly, but so far so good. The weather has been cold and snowy. I can handle the snow, but the temperature is another story. I have two shots of the same subject this week, just at different angle...

Re: Barn and Tree

I like Chuck's dead eyes. Through a hole, you would likely only see the wall behind anyway. The vineyards feel like fences and prison - I would consider going b/w and spook the scene up. Thank you for commenting, Piet! The light on the pretty colored tree was what caught my eye. But it just so happ...

Re: No Privacy

Voyeurism of a different kind....... First let me say welcome back! I can see that you were a regular participant during the first incarnation of pM, and all of us here now (some old, some new) would be so happy to have you back in the village. That is a wonderfully imaginative portrait. I'm not su...

Re: Dave's Project 52

Making every attempt to keep out of the Rut. I have week #2 of project 52 for all interested to view and critique. Since my first image was airport related, I felt the need to take the project inside this week. I have several images and thought I would make the project airport related throughout th...

Re: Barn and Tree

I decided to try poking holes in the barn windows to let the sky in :D Otherwise, the three pics are the same (did "save for web" but am going back next time to regular re-size). What interested me in the scene was 1. a bit of clearing with blue sky (seriously light-deprived in these parts, but abo...

Re: Dave's Project 52

Anymore airport security can be a little on the scary side. Knowing you are innocent but the unknown fact remains, what will they find? Once, in San Diego returning home, there was a button( unknown to me) sewn to the inside of my pants by one of the pockets. TSA found it with one of their scanners...

Re: St3v3M's 30 Day: Rule Of Thirds

A foot? How did you get that close without spooking it? Matt I should have said more. The hawk was hit by a car and was rehabilitating at a local Nature Center. It seemed used to people but not a lens pressed against the fence and was pretty tame but only took so much of me. I have another in the w...

Re: What's the rush?

An ox cart in a West Bengal village. I'm off out to India again tomorrow, to say I'm excited would be an understatement. First a few days in Kolkata then out to the tribal villages in the forests with a children's health team._DSC1160-b.jpg Safe trip. I love the right antler on the cow on the right...
