Shield Maiden

Benedikt has been lonely long enough... This model stands an inch tall and is made of resin (plastic). The characteristics of plastic are very different than metal. Metal reflects light, but plastic will absorb and be translucent (note the thin shield for example, and the fact that the hanging sword...

Re: Benedict meets Nammu Nag

Funny enough I did pic an "Eastern brown ( not sure?) " sunning itself on the road in the middle of nowhere. Snake was gray as was the road, so not much colour there! Used a 400mm lens. Snakes will usually run from you, but others will attack. So be safe, or you'll only have 10 mins to get antidote...

I like very much your chosen point of view, gazing up into the sky with him.

Re: A_casual_grab

Frank, you take many shots of people that you know. You are surrounded by people that don't mind having you take their pictures. In my humble opinion, you are at a point with your photoshop skills and with your camera skills that you should explore off-camera lighting and head into portraiture and s...

Re: A_casual_grab

my take processing wise, I wanted particularly to ease the background and to see if softening the skin some might help.. Probably went too far and too bright, but this is what I was thinking...

Re: Feather in the shower

I think you found the perfect image to perfect your photoshop skills with. Do everything Min says, consider rotating it 90 degrees clockwise, consider replacing the background with a texture, solve the white strip issue (perhaps select the colors close to the edge and paint continuation lines). With...
