'Bad Liver & A Broken Heart'

While out yesterday came across this unique individual and since it has been a long while I had to capture her before it was too late.

Re: Dave's Project 52

Here I am on week 29 but in actuality it's week 30. Falling behind is not a issue I'm prepared to deal with, so I need to get the lead out. This shot was taken at the same place as the previous week, Sunshine Sessions @ Mt. Adams Pavilion in Cincinnati. I took this solely for the lighting. This youn...

#2 for me, Dave. Young in heart and mind is still young, you know. Well captured and presented. Matt

Thanks Matt for your comments !!! Sometimes its hard to keep on the young side. The mirrors never lie, as neither do photos, but spirit does keep me in check !!!

Re: Minnie's 52

Wheel gave me "Urban Decay". Since I was headed to Nashville for the weekend I assumed I'd have no problem finding urban decay in a city that large. Nashville surprised me with its cleanliness, its rapid absorption/renewal of wrecked architecture. Decay turned out to be hard to find. In the Nations...

I like that more detail is shown in this color version and wonder what that might look like in the b/w.....
I'm assuming you are wanting to see more exposure and detail Frank. So here it is. Hope it helps your curiosity.

Re: 'Soldier Boy'

I wouldn't critique a thing. I like it just as it is. You have in your signature line, Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like. I think you managed exactly that! :thanks: Thanks Chuck, my thoughts precisely, "Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like". Much appreciat...

Re: 'Soldier Boy'

you captured that sense of time - I think it awesome. Critique - the sharpness of the helmet does not match the sharpness of the face and this produces a type of dissonance (which perhaps you were shooting for).. Thanks Piet, you are correct. The sharpness of the helmet doesn't match the face and i...

Re: 'Sweet Hitchhiker' (composite)

very cool - love Duck's advise and "todo" image - particularly about the tangent areas - perhaps kill the Service word. Also tempted to further color down the greens. I like what you did here. Thanks Piet, Duck's pinpoints really does help me to see the areas in need of correction for improvements....

Re: 'Sweet Hitchhiker' (composite)

I love it. The new background works so much better than the original. I also like where you are going with the processing, trying to give it that "Saturday Evening Post" feel. As has been pointed out, there are some issues. The halo, while clearly visible around the woman, is clearly visible around...
