Re: Minnie's 52

Jan 15- Self Portrait. Ugh. Well, this is an experiment I don't think I'll do much more of, but I did want to do something kind of original, so I used the camera to take a picture of me taking a picture of myself with cell phone.. or something like that. It was the only way I could figure to get a ...

Re: Dave's Project 52

Making every attempt to keep out of the Rut. I have week #2 of project 52 for all interested to view and critique. Since my first image was airport related, I felt the need to take the project inside this week. I have several images and thought I would make the project airport related throughout the...

Re: Minnie's 52

I am using the spinner to help drive the image I post in this thread every week. This week I got "Natural Framing" and of course went to the swamp and the dam. The swamp proved more useful. However, it's 12 degrees here today, and zero with the wind chill factor. Coldest it's been in a century, the...

Re: A pM Retreat? Share Your Thoughts

Well so far it looks as though only five of us have shown an interest. I understand it's still early, but maybe a more set time frame would be encouraging for future planning. I have no objection to a chosen destination and would be quite happy with what and where the majority chooses. I love to tra...

Re: Suspended Season

Linda, for me, #1 tells the story of your title much more over #2. The composition and processing of #1 is so much more pleasing to my eye, where #2 appears to have been over sharpened. Just my thoughts of opinion. Dave Many thanks for your time and feedback, Dave! "Oversharpened" is rarely mention...

Re: A sense of place?

An excellent set to view Linda !!! The blue tone gives me a sense of damp coldness to show the power of this series. Well done on all accounts.

Re: Suspended Season

I'm mostly leaning towards #1 telling the stronger story, though there are reasons I like #2. Do feel either reflects the title? Which is your preference, if either? Other feedback, suggestions and edits are welcome. Many thanks. Linda, for me, #1 tells the story of your title much more over #2. Th...

Re: St3v3M's 30 Day: Rule Of Thirds

Your 30 day achievement is off to a fine start Steve. Some interesting subjects and as I understand it, the thread is about breaking the rule of thirds, correct?

Re: Swamp Child, Unclothed, At Dawn

And if anyone had any prurient interest in the title, they would be disappointed at seeking a naked little tree shivering on an icy morning. Many of the young cypress have not survived the droughts of the past 3 years. Those who are able to keep their feet wet early in life are the most likely to p...
