Re: Intense Moments with a Bucking Bronco

My intention with this thread is to reveal before and during moments with a bucking bronco. This was my first ever attendance rodeo. These were captured from the stands in Cody, Wyoming this past August. Not knowing exactly what to expect other than bucking broncos, bull riding, barrel racing and t...

Re: Intense Moments with a Bucking Bronco

Powerful story telling IMO. Very glad you were able to include the saddle in #1, Dave. That really sets up the series, I think. #2 is a strong view of power and energy ready to burst out. Terrific framing and tight composition. I don't think a front view of #3 would have improved; I find it very in...

Re: Recommendation for print service for photo book

I want to make a book of some of my b&w photos but most of the printing services seem to specialize in color books. Does anyone have a recommendation on a service with good experience in printing b&w photo books? Thanks. Matt Matt, I have used Adorama in the past with great results. The las...

'Expressions'

Capturing a variety of expressions can be a challenge, especially with candid shots on the streets. Patience is the key, and while at times I have very little. The three posted of this gentleman is an example of just how an expression can change an individual's appearance. Now, you may say "all...

Re: Excitement

Frank, it just keeps getting better and better !!! The excitement flows all across her face. It's like she has just received a long awaited gift, caught by surprise at something. IMO, you couldn't ask for anything better. I bet Mom & Dad love it as well.

Re: Blue Hour Swamp

Minnie, I think I may have mentioned this to you sometime in the past, but the swamp images you have displayed here recently are superb and would look fantastic in a large print. I can imagine seeing them on display in a local hotel chain's lobby and/or rooms. Have you ever considered to approach yo...

Re: What to do with the moon?

My hope for a moonset at sunrise photo op was again thwarted when the full moon disappeared behind pink clouds well above the horizon line for the second month in a row. So I used my only shot from December to create these composites. btw, one benefit to going out for a sunrise/moonset opportunity ...
