'Loose Ends'

I couldn't help myself as I walked along to see this individual on a street corner, set up for tarot readings. This seem to be a normal thing in New Orleans and there sure seems to be enough of them. I am curious thou, as to how accurate are the readings? Altho, it is obvious what caught my attentio...

Re: Unsure

A fantastic image Frank !!! The bokeh is just right which puts more focus on your lovely subjects. It looks as thou you have added a texture to the sky and its not overbearing. Just subtle enough to know that its there. I don't have any suggestions for improvement, altho Piet may be onto something, ...

I like the one with the dog - they are pals.

Absolutely Piet !!! It was so hot, pushing near 100 degrees. I did notice there was a portable fan strapped to the left front corner of the cart.

Re: 'A favorite character in New Orleans'

With all the walking in New Orleans I developed a blister between my toes, took a break and went in a corner store for Band-Aids. Walking by as I was leaving the store was this individual pushing/pulling a shopping cart with his dog inside the cart. I was able to work the scene some with his approv...

Re: Maroon Bells This Morning

I went out there in total darkness, in a foot of fresh snow and not quite 10 degrees. It was not the most auspicious set of photos ever taken at the Bells. No clouds for interest, no alpenglow, and the lake was at about half normal capacity due to a couple of years of drought. I missed peak foliage...

Re: Treasued_conversation

Good to know......I didn't care for it at first but after looking at it on and of it grew on me and is also my choice. Thank you both for comment. Sometimes image processed modes will play "Mind Games" with you Frank. I agree, it's the second one for me as well, but the overall scene is a cherished...

Dave, Love the face but not the overall treatment. Too soft and smokey; might have expected more of your grit approach. Matt

Thanks Matt, I understand !!! I still have some issues to be ironed out. Some of my comments to Frank would apply here as well.

Re: 'Weeping Guitarist'

I'm still up in the air on the processing Dave..I liked it on the surfer and some of your others but not sure of it here... Understandable Frank !!! I have found that this style of processing isn't for every image/subject and actually not to everyone's tastes as well. However, to compare this image...
