Re: Meritime Festival

I liked your first picture of the ships, Ernst.
It has fore/middle and background, so draws your eyes into and across the frame
Oh and by the way..The other pics were up to your usual standard
Kind regards;

Charles;
You are right. Trying to photo a bronze figure in bright light will leave you with only two options. Expose for the sky or figure..hehe

Have fun;

Re: Medical Mission

Rambling: Top picture was of an Anesthetist I grabbed her for a quicky away from the Op. Yes we do have students in their final years, but they learn so much under pressure, but the team is mainly made up of highly specialised doctors from university and major hospitals. All give up their time to do...

Medical Mission

Returned home from another medical mission. As always a lot of hard work and fun. I got the local police to arrest their captain for a "police shoot". He's the guy in the middle, you can just make out the pips on his shoulder. After work on our last night we were treated to a cultural show. Part of ...

Re: Photography, Color Perception and Cataract Surgery

I have been wearing glasses since I was 16 and it came as a shock to the headmaster as I had to stand on the podium with him every morning before assembly. About 2012 I had to have both eye lenses replaced. The operations were one week apart. I was originally asked if I wanted to stay short sighted ...

With no plan or idea and working in P/S 6 I did the following. Filter/oil paint Stylization4_Cleanliness 2...

Re: HDR_ how many exposures do you need?

Charles; Duck:
Glad we can all laugh, even though there is a serious side to my post.
The question now is..How do I get Charles and Duck to fight!!!

Just thought of a postscript to this.
The two of you go off and do a three exposure in hdr.
Then take the -2 and +2 and process them...hehe
