Re: Another Environmental Portrait

Clever use of that pillow. Cleaned up her neck and chin beautifully. Pity you never had an overhanging branch to frame her. Can see that intense blue sky creeping in. Been to most parts of the world, but there is no blue sky like ours! Read posts before in other forums that said things like " y...

Re: A group shot.

I think the pooches were better behaved than their owners in this one.
Can't always win every shot Onslow.

Re: Sensor Cleaning

Ed said; ""Then there was the guy that sucked the guts out of his camera body with one of these Dyson jet-propelled vacuum cleaners."" I fully agree with you Ed. But staying on the same. I have used a vacuum on my camera, and before you call me a twit. I will point out that the p...

Re: Sensor Cleaning

Not much to add to comments already made. but no one has mentioned storage. Yes, we all baby our equipment and place it back carefully in the camera bag. Had a look inside your bag lately? No good cleaning the camera if the bag has detritus collected over the past 5 years! I use a large clear plasti...

Pic1 Not a fan of flat hands disappearing behind the head. Bring it forward and arch fingers as in left hand. Elbow towards camera. Bring left hand down to open face more. pic3 ""The other arm needs to be moved backward to get rid of the fold at her shoulder."" I think you mean t...

Perhaps rotate the head more towards the camera so that her right eye doesn't look suspended in space? kind ...

John;
Did you capture any shots while they were dancing? Be nice to see some with movement.

Aida Nikolaychuk

Had fun with this pic. First time I have tried this and I think I'm gonna like doing it.
Heading back overseas again soon with my new canon 1dx and 85mm. Plenty to do. More to post then.
Kind regards;

I wasn't sure which subsection to post it, so I placed it here. I'll post another pic in the critique section.

Re: A visit from Tamieka...

Lovely picture of a lovely subject John; Not going to revamp previous comments as I need to digest it all for my own use, and Ed's remarks alone are worth the admission price into this forum. A little Nit_Pic is the crease lines in left arm pit. Take them out? I'm moving over to tethered shooting fo...
