Re: Simple Statue

Miniev;
"you could dramatize it even more if you decided to."
Here is a play on the same statue at a different angle, but no, I wanted my print simple.
I could have taken the gray out of the sky, but decided to leave that texture in for the canvas print.
Have fun;

Re: A_casual_grab

From Matt; " I am used to see more detail or depth or dimension or something like that." I love what Piet done, but you can go in the opposite direction. My quick play. Used the lasso tool on the background, feather at 40pix. Then increase blacks with levels. Using the same area I then blurred. Is m...

Simple Statue

Not sure if in correct forum. Took a few pictures of this statue, situated in the front grounds of Manila Hospital, at various angles. Did colourise it red and place it into a galaxy far far away, but I wanted to print it B&W on A3 canvas. Overcast day, so sky was very bland. All I did was increase ...

Re: Printer profiling

Thanks Onslow. You are way too far ahead of me. I did set up my profiles for my Kodak papers, but that is not my issue. The issue is the swim in colours as seen on monitor and poor rendition when printed...BUT...absolute profile is amazing. I suppose it comes down to "What works for me" Just come ba...

Re: Help!!! Needed Re: Image Sales

How much is your time worth?
Check on other businesses in your area. How much do they charge?
Don't sell yourself cheap?
Above are only ideas for you to think about.
Kind regards;

Thanks for the kind posts.
I'm not dismissing P/S. It's softer approach, I feel gives you more leeway for processing if required.

Re: Dee’s House

Love the history lessons from your youth minniev.....maybe try and enhance the house a bit (think light) to make it more the focus of the image Agree. A close up of the house on this misty morning would have been great. As it is the house as an element is too small and lost in the trees. This where...
