Recipe above is just one way to reduce extremes Another fast way is when in raw adjustment is to reduce contrast all the way down. This again will open up the grays for smoother transitions. Kate Old Hollywood

Having plenty of time and not much to do, I got to thinking about the old Hollywood studio look.
So I pulled out an old picture of my daughter in law. Reduced the blacks, reduced whites and softened the picture.
Anybody else done something similar?
