Re: FingerWork

Wow? While I’m close to speechless, I’ll render a solemn objective response: Unbe-darn-lieve-able and a-freakin-mazing! Wonderfully conceived and beautifully rendered! Yeah! I’m impressed! Dave and by the bye, Min, at the meeting I recently attended they really liked the 3D version of your “Path thr...

Grateful thanks to fellow pM participants

Fellow pM participants; I have just returned from Savannah, GA, having participated in BioComm2018, the 88th Intl. meeting of the BioCommunications Association (an 80 year-old umbrella organization of photographers and illustrators in the life sciences and medicine). Registrants and presenters came ...

Re: Chicken Wire Man

Makes me wonder how the guy got out after they molded all that chicken wire around him?

Re: Prairie Chickens at Dawn....and I’m hoping for critique on 3D effect....

Hi,Matt, Thanks for your candor. I appreciate your looking and telling it like you see it. you’ve no idea how apt your question was. I was in a bit of a cramped position under camo netting for several hours (from first hint of light to about 9:45...) and by the time the show was over...I needed the ...

Prairie Chickens at Dawn....and I’m hoping for critique on 3D effect....

These ladies are eagerly awaiting arrival of the cockbirds and the randy dances with which they compete for the favors of the ladies! Also...this CB587C5B-70A6-45A1-BA8B-2A47AE4B02D3.png stereo quad set is the result of using a new tweak of one of my earliest-developed 3D conversion techniques, so I...

Ah-ha...once again at play in the fields of fanciful evolution!
Magically accomplished!
Love it!

(and yes, mice routinely use their tails as do cats...as a tool of balance).

Re: Sunset at The Grand Canyon

--Bob Bob, A marvelous image with much to enjoy: The low sun behind and to your right lighting the nearby greenery, and then casting its complementary long wavelength reds/cerise in the far distance is a beautiful natural example of turning upside-down the assumption that warm colors are always nea...

Re: Hey Hay Hey

Steve, I hope you don't ever try to get too close to these beasts. They may lumber but, when they want, they move exceedingly fast. I knew of someone who had approached within 5 yards of one in Yellowstone and stood behind a tree to take a picture of it grazing. In a flash and before the man could ...

just a snap from car-but a new 3D tweak for Critique

Just a snap from the driver’s seat of my parked car..but a range of depths that inspired a new tweak of one of my earlier 3D conversion methods.
I’m hoping those able to view stereo pairs will C&C the stereo effect.

Re: Why I Don't Use Waders In the Swamp

I think they are exc3llent images, Min. Were I there (I’m assuming you are on the boardwalk you occasionally include in your swamp images) I would try to observe the old rule about getting down to your subject’s eye level by using my camera’s articulated display screen in the “waist level” position....
