Bighorn Re-do: Blending In

I posted this last fall with some rather "bright" colors. For this version I wanted to emphasize the camouflage aspect, while at the same time pointing out (so to speak) the exception to the coloring :| Wondering what you think of the processing and overall idea? Many thanks!

Scary about the bus accident. I did have to chuckle over your comment in another topic on how "wintry mix" sounds like a food treat :)

Re: Adventures in Wanderland; Looking Through the Glass, A Series

#10: A Conclave of Cardinals and Other Hungry Birds Took this though our kitchen window when we lived in VA at a slightly higher elevation and had REAL winters. Matt pM Exports--16.jpg Very neat! Your mention of real winters reminds me of my first in the DC area, 1986 I think. I was living in Ft Wa...

Highly enjoyable series, Chuck! Love the panning and all the scenes. You've created a great deal of interest for me in the show and the hobby.

Re: These Feet were made for Dancing

... I have redone the directional light in hope that this helps a little ... but not sure if it does .....here it is In the first I could barely discern the blanket psjunkie mentioned and could barely tell if anything was between the two pairs of "stuff." That contributed to the mystery, but also t...

Re: Spring?

Beautiful! I particularly like #2 for the contrast with decaying leaves and #3 for the perspective. Great exposure and clarity too.

#21 - I would not have been able to take that pic without requesting removal of the garbage can :)

#22 - the processing is super on this feast of textures and lines. As always, your humor is laigniappe :)

Re: A Brace of Dam Birds

I'm very drawn to the massive geometry of #1 against the delicate bird. Curious how whiter water and whiter bird would look? I'm not feeling #2 because of the large amounts of black - ironic since you're usually about lifting shadows and I'm about silhouettes or contrasts :) I like the position of t...

Great demo, Chuck! Your indoor tests will serve you well for whenever spring finally arrives. And somehow, it always does! I used to want to smack my co-workers in Maine, though, when they'd remark about an April SNOW shower: "oh it won't stick." HA HA

Get well soon!
