I realize it didn't have these tones Matt, but I couldn't help myself......I like this one as color and you know i'm more of a b/w kinda guy.....nice image thanks for letting us play..I may give the b/w a try..or not.
I know it ain't critique but.....move the cloud I know that's why you kept it wide...for me all the other stuff detracts from your wonderfully captured subject and a bit more portrait crop would accent I think......

I don't know exactly what you're after...but one way is to make a duplicate layer-convert to smart object-fliters-acr and use the negative clarity slider...then duplicate layer-smart object-acr-negative de-haze if you want a bit more foggish look and mask as needed....you don't have to convert to sm...
