Re: Aesthetic Corporal Sports Massage

An intense capture Minnie !!! The young lady in the center appears to be taking a "selfie", while the one to her left carries on a conversation with the one standing. Curious, are they advertising their services or selling a magazine for "Aesthetic Corporal Sports Massage"? A front view of the lady...

Re: Make A Holiday Card!

All three are very cool !!! The second one has my attention the most thou. The smiling boy and the melting snowman says "Not Now Charlie Brown". If I ever get around to making a card I'll post. Dave I did poorly with the snow brushes on that one but I just had to play with them as I just found them...

Re: Barkers Park, Cayman Islands

This is what a national park looks like in the Cayman Islands. Sort of. It is actually a composite of four images that were all taken at the same spot but couldn't be caught in the same frame because of the angles and distance from each other. The chickens were running away from me, the woman was f...

Re: Dave's Project 52

More experimenting with post processing as this project is winding down to #48 of 52. I hope I catch up in time. Textured layers, motion and zoom blur from Topaz Lens Effects. The zoom blur is interesting to me as I’ve not tried it for street images, monky for nature shots. I’ve tried motion blur an...

Re: Beauty in the Marsh

(I plan to keep adding to this thread).. beauty1s.jpg Gorgeous images, simple but rich in color, detail, and quiet story. The bonus is, I know they go into the Piet Image Library and may emerge one day emerge in a different, more luxurious story full of other colors or characters or textures.

Make A Holiday Card!

Make a card of your liking - Christmas, Hanukah, generic Winter Holiday and share it in this thread. Make it simple or complicated, funny or serious, creepy or nostalgic. Add more if you make more. It's a great way to practice your creative skills. You've seen my dam bird image, but here he is as pr...

Re: Monthly Masters' Discussion - December 2018 - Bruegel's "Census At Bethlehem"

Interestingly enough, I am in the process of refining my lecture on composition and this image has so much going for it, compositionally. ... Well, I must say you picked a perfect time to share a lesson in composition based on a kitchen sink artwork! I fully agree that this is carefully ordered cha...

Re: the sky is ink

your tinten composition would put the lie to that -- but your story goes far to say how skill overcomes talent. How hard work overcomes "its's easy". Talented people are lazy - it comes easy. The rewards are in the struggle. With PS, at least there is nothing that can't be undone/redone - the canva...

Re: Monthly Masters' Discussion - December 2018 - Bruegel's "Census At Bethlehem"

I like the subdued colors/light - reminds me of a cloudy day. I suspect Minnie likes Bruegel's kitchen sink very well. And I do too, everything seems to have its place and the images speaks about hustle and bustle and community and building, collecting, keeping things going, working, LIFE. You know...
