The wind is blowing across the bay and I am assuming that fish are being forced into the shore - all I know is we went to see the spray and saw the gulls hovering over the shoreline. Those birds mus...

Re: Don Julio monolith

Unitas_Photography-Don_Julio.jpg Another portfolio piece. An elegant one, too. I like the toning and the color palette, which comes across as classy. The shot itself is technically perfect. I’m not sold on the two little green dots, but really like the larger bokeh forms in both tone and texture . ...

Re: Minne's NEW 2019 52

gorgeous shots - the boys are sayin - "who you lookin at?" Zeke took exception to me having a hat on. I guess because Gene and Brother have had hats since he met them, he doesn’t mind theirs, but when I put mine on he went on full alert and barked for the first time. He loves being out though, ripp...

Re: Minne's NEW 2019 52

for these birds I think the lighting is too different, the trees are mostly silhouette, get some silhouette birds and try blend if.. All I'd have to do is render them as shot instead of raising the shadows. I'll try it. They were in the same light, but I doggedly tried to get some of their whitenes...

Re: Lunar Eclipse 1/20/19 Composite

I've seen these posted by others but never even imagined how they constructed it. Nicely done. It looks like a lot of work! Love that delicate progression of color throughout the series.

That’s just gorgeous Martha! I’m so jealous! Mine were not nearly this lovely. The 3 dimensional look of this image is mesmerizing.

Happy New Year!

Yes I think your blending of the birds needs more attention.....but I like the overall feel of the image and find no issue with composition..nice vision.
I agree. One hazard is that the bird picture isn't much good, had to raise ISO too much. "blend if"?

Re: Minne's NEW 2019 52

Theme of Bare Branches - I will probably have more than one since bare branches is all I have to take pictures of right now. This one I'm not happy with, it's a combination of a straight up shot and a straight down shot (reflection) with local pelicans sailing by overhead, from another shot, all tak...
