This week there has been a Spider Convention going on around here. I've had some fun with them.

Not sure I'm happy with this just yet so any comment or nit-pic is welcomed......
Nice for a grab shot.Good management of skin and eyes. There's something about the way that shadow on her chin lies that bothers me but I don't exactly know how to explain or what to suggest about it.

Re: my place

Thank you for this nice series of windows into your gentle world. The threat these ever-worsening storms pose to beautiful places like yours is pretty scary stuff. I know you and all the creatures you share it with breathed a sigh of relief that you had no worse troubles than a mouse picnic. We are ...

Re: Minnie's 52

The Wheel gave me Panorama. So I went back to Felix's and tried something different. This could be called Fingerwork #xx. I'd love to be in the brain of someone who makes something like this! S- Next time you pass through MS on your travels, I'll take you to meet him. One of Felix's most interestin...

Cute story minniev...kinda tight at the top, but then that sorta fits the mold.
I wondered if I should add a bit of extra leafy background on top. Of course I was excluding something I didn't want to show. Pesky instrusions.

Thanks Frank!

Re: It's going to be a sunshiny day

Nice cheerful flower shot, well framed, well taken and nicely rendered. Looks like it would do well as stock!

Re: An oldie from a while ago...

I don’t do portraits or studio work, so my critique isn’t worth much, but it looks pretty near perfectly executed to me, good use of lighting, nice color, good handling of skin so that it’s smooth but not plastic. It would be hard to find anything to fuss about (I admit lip piercings sort of creep ...

St Francis Examines His Bulldozer

I have taken pictures of St. Francis before, but he doesn't do much, and he's kinda small. Also, he is homely: his head is a little flattened like they took him out of the concrete mold too soon and he sunk a bit. I caught him looking quizzically at the dirt mover the boys left with him last weekend...
