Re: A Day At The Track

The first one, you can see it in the eye of the horse that she is spooked about something, but yet, the handler has no concern other than his phone conversation? Excellent capture Minnie. I have several shots of the handlers/groomers, but I have not paid much attention to their body language. I'll ...

Re: A Day At The Track

Eyes Down - As Piet noted, the handlers/grooms are always the ones most calm. They have to be. They have so much influence on the horses. One thing I've noticed, is that while working with the horse in the paddock or on the track, grooms/handlers keep their eyes downcast 95% of the time, and their ...

Pink Fish Two Ways

I took a picture of Luke's favorite fish when we went to the museum, a pink thing that I couldn't find a name for. For fun, I made an art version by inverting him and fooling with textures and bokeh dots from something else. Any feedback is appreciated, though I'm not looking for anything in particu...

Yeah, I run their website there too :) Next month is women's month and I was asked to do a photo session with all the female business owners in the building in order to showcase them during the month. I thought ...

Re: '1948-50 Dodge Truck'

This is a composite I stared the other day and decided that it's time for me to stop before I make matters worse. The main subject is a 1948-50 Dodge truck take here locally recently. I didn't know the exact year and after doing a Google search, the years I specified is as close I can come. The bac...

Re: New Orleans: Dark Lord

Well done Minnie !!! He's a perdy boy now, but still scary. I'm surprised you didn't spook him up, but I do like this version and the work you put into it shows. Dave I'm not quite through with him yet. He's a tough one. Sometimes you can have TOO clear an idea where you want to go with something. ...
