Re: Monthly Masters' Discussion- Oct 2017 - Gursky's Rhein II

Here is an interesting new article that's actually BY Gursky, so I thought i'd share it. A little window into his creative process.

Re: lunch

not a great shot, was very far away and heavily cropped. I see this Northern Harrier hunting every day. I didn't think that it was eating too good, since it has been below freezing and all. So anyway, today I see it in the distance and try to get some shots, none very good - due to the angle and di...

Hi All Was doodling this morning and discovered this. For you pleasure. RBorud
I love your doodles. A butterfly in danger of being caught in the vortex of a Whirlpool Plant. Great use of coordinating color. (plus some really cool doodling).

Re: The Road

Linda, I love the composition and where it gets interesting for me is when the road is suddenly out of site over the hill. I am, however, having difficulty getting use to the color tone and if it were mine I would convert to B&W. The wet road spots does not bother me and in fact, adds interest to t...

Re: The Rainbow Factory

Interesting concept, along with the title. I keep looking for an assembly line, which could actually be the water falls itself. Not sure why, but the title reminds me of a Creedence Clearwater Revival album, Cosmo's Factory. After doing a search, I found this: https://johnflaherty.deviantart.com/ar...

Re: The Rainbow Factory

It's fascinating to see these larger views, mainly for context for the flights of fancy and other incredibly original fine art you create from this site. In spite of happy-color rainbow, I feel unease, the overpowering power of the dam itself. The ice is super, not just from knowing how rare it is ...

Yellows and blues, leading lines, light and dark, solid and texture, it's all there!

What was it that made you stop and say, This Is The One? S-
Cause I’ve always wanted a leading line curve in the swamp but there wasn’t one, till I spotted this one.

Re: Take A Knee

The second I saw the title I thought Why Didn't I Think Of That? Love it! The image is haunting and beautiful, and the ice is an amazing backdrop, you would think it was a studio cloth if you hadn't known, but I especially like the shaft of light coming down on the knee. There's a story here of lif...
