Re: A Gentlemen's Agreement

A handshake between two street performers sharing the same corner of Bourbon St for the night: Tin Foil Man and the Littlest Drummer. Dave Chinn and I just finished a 4 day stay in New Orleans. We suffered 100 degree heat and stifling humidity to bring back a bunch of street shots that we'll share ...

Re: New Orleans Ladies #1

Interesting pair, I find the smoke on the ground by their feet amusing..... These two were not in good shape, though it was very early in the morning. They are regulars in the Quarter ,and everyone knows them well. It is interesting how the artists, street performers, homeless folk and other local ...

Re: Minnie's 52

looks like success to me, you captured a sense of madness - as if the driver is saying "let's scoop something up with the cow catcher".. Re: A Gentlemen's Agreement

Re: A Gentlemen's Agreement

Took me a few seconds to work out kitchen sink and close up.. :) A close up will of course add intimacy, but what you have added is atmosphere. You have put it all in perspective and space. Where they are and what they are doing. Your thoughts? kind regards; Kitchen sink is my style - I include lot...

New Orleans Ladies #1

I've got several series, one of the women of NOLA, of which this is #1.

Hoping Mr. Chinn adds some of his soon! it is so interesting to see how differently we present the same scenes and people.

Shot with slow shutter on the trolley ride in NOLA this weekend.
