Re: The Rainbow Factory

Icecycles and rainbows, what an amazing day! Are those small bits of ice in the water or reflections of the rocks below? What do you think, are the birds happy with their work? S- Mostly reflections. They should be proud of churning out such nice rainbows and putting on classical theatre production...

Re: "Art" out of Ice?

My initial reactions are; fantasy moons, Oh I Love This One, and someone finally got a picture of Pangea! I really love the second, but wonder if you're getting close enough. S- Definitely not close enough, but it was a water plant, and would've needed a longer lens. Why is it that I never seem to ...

Re: Adventures in Wanderland; Looking Through the Glass, A Series

Great shots, Matt. Your eye for photography is rather amazing, and it's been a joy to watch it grow more powerful. I am sure there are thousands of selfies, none of which have any artistic value. This does. And there are a dozen other ways you can process these to make more art of them. Really real...

#6: Shades of Green With permission, I took this photo through the front glass door of this studio. The artist paints only in shades of green, what he calls "Cape Light." He has hundreds in this room, the back room, and upstairs. He is primarily a woodworker but decided 30 years ago to take up pain...

I like that you've shown the tree in the reflection but not in the upper part of the photo. Cool shot.

Re: Minnie's 52

I apologize, I missed this one from last week. I have discovered over the last couple of years that moon images ARE difficult to achieve and at most, all appear to look the same. Unless ..... it's processed in such a way to have a unique impact, which is what you have here, Minnie. Yes, it's just a...
