Oh, that's nice Matt. You are following the light again here. The contrast between highlighted areas and deep shadows provides mystery and the small details in the well lit spots catch our eye.

Minnie, I like the final result the most except for the hat/head of the rower. On a quick glance, it looked like he had lost it; there is greater contrast in the original between hat and water.. I had my go at them both. Both are valid interpretations of a lovely scene, expressed in different ways. For the color, my main goal was to adjust the color so the water didn't look purple.
