Great timing...the decisive moment
I liked the moment, but it is a little quirky.

Re: Wooden fountain

It makes a strange, somewhat puzzling but very cool photo. Your tonalities on this one are rich and very beautiful.

Re: Yesterday's Sunrise

Minnie, gorgeous. Modest, not extreme like mine, seductive and stealing, not invasive, peaceful, settling, easing into night. Self-contained, happy, full but uncrowded. Masterful. I envy your eye. Matt Thanks Matt, glad you like it. I was so glad to see a real sunrise and not just rain! We’ve had t...

Re: Alone in a Crowd - sort of NSFW

Sad, sad town, paradoxically joining extremes but never meeting in the middle. Always on display. How does anyone relax there? Matt By getting off Bourbon St!! The rest of the city is pretty laid back. Most residents never go there. When I lived there I only went during Mardi Gras or if I had an ou...

Re: Yesterday's Sunrise

Since the sky with gold fog and clouds into the blue is what you are deeming as your subject here I would suggest some blurring of the foreground and some sharpening to the sky for a touch more accent...that could be achieved by whatever method you choose.....lovely image minniev.. Good ideas. Does...

Re: Dave's Project 52

I'm gonna jump ahead and cheat to week #43. Here is an HDR image of Cincinnati at a different location than the (fisheye) image. This one I used a 16-28mm wide angle lens @16mm. I haven't done an HDR in quite sometime, but my reasoning for it was to get a long exposure shot to enhance movement in t...

Re: 'Anger Management'

I came across another image of my 'Anger Management' woman 2 shots just prior to her approaching Minnie & I. My decision for color was a challenge but I also thought it needed a touch of softness. It was hard for me to climb and cross over the fence to the color side, but it is growing on me ... ju...

Re: Fingerwork for Today: Aspen in Snow

Loving the stuff you and Dave are putting up. You seem to have really found your groove! As always, we all see and interpret differently. The large snow representations seem to overpower the rest of the picture and my eyes continuously come back to them. Your thoughts? Have fun: Thanks! I tried the...

Re: Silos

I like them all, but #3 is my favorite. I love silos. I wish we had more here. I found one last weekend, an unusual sight in MS. Unfortunately I couldn't get close to it, so I settled for a kitchen sink version that I'll post eventually. In that first image: usually I object to halos, but this one a...

Black Cats and Broomstraw

I meant to post this one around Halloween, as it seemed to fit the theme, but it's really a leftover from our New Orleans trip. There are many that I just haven't got to, including one of Dave that I'm seeking the right treatment for.
