Re: Plastic Flowers

Not sure why these flowers are so grainy. Maybe I should have converted to srgb 8bit Before posting? Also the white balance changed between shots. Only the flowers show as a little grainy. Maybe their actual texture? Or a composite with the flowers at a grainier camera setting or editing? As for WB...

Re: Guess What?

Adding this collage that I did to practice some compositing things I'm still trying to learn. I am afraid I forget new skills faster than I learn them...which means I never get good at anything.

Re: Plastic Flowers

I like this! I don't care if the flowers are plastic, it's still a cool execution. Love the controlled color palette. You are right to include the statue, she makes the image. I like the first one best, with its soft dreamy look. Intriguing work that can be turned into dozens of variations with diff...

Re: Guess What?

Detail shot. Imagination runs a bit wild. We were on a search for the hideouts of one of Mississippi's most notorious murderers, Albert Lepard, when we came upon the Edsel graveyard about a mile from where he lived. He was first famous for murdering his aunt by tying her to her bed and setting the b...

Re: Guess What?

OMG - I understand Edison learned lots of ways that a light bulb doesn't work, and I understand that your father raised on heck of a daughter - and I am sure there is way more to know in that story. If you wrote that book, I know I would read it... Since photography came to me after that event, I h...

Re: Guess What?

super cool shot Min. I love your technique on this, perhaps add a hint of fog or some such, and for humor, perhaps a Dam Hood Ornament. Your car is awesome. Needs the slightest clockwise rotation too Hadn't thought of an ornament, could work! Thanks! I thought of straightening it but left it as it ...

Re: Cat in the Hat

the hat is splendid on cross-eyed Luke. Like fermented berries that make him Puke. He once was good, but now the Lad is Bad and makes his Brothers Mad! fun! The only way to get a serious picture of Luke is to sneak up on him. If he poses, he is going to give you a crazy face. The brothers have over...
