Re: The Front Gate

My problem is that I save almost everything that isn't horribly out of focus or a complete waste of space. Some day when I don't have a full time job plus 11 kids to deal with, plus our home-based sock business, I might have time to cull out the unfixable and spend some time learning Photoshop and ...

Re: Delayed In Denver

You are quite welcome. It really is an interesting place. I marvel at what appears to be a huge plastic bubble overhead and wonder how they keep the place warm with snow on the ground. Warm is relative in this part of the country though. It is not uncommon for people here to be in short sleeves and...

Re: Up Down

A perfect example of symmetry nicely centered in frame. The extra time you took to get your framing perfect really paid off with this image. Great processing. Nice tones. My only nitpick would be to take the digital broom to the little bits of litter in the foreground. They really distract me from ...

Re: Delayed In Denver

I would disagree. All the action is in the background and since that is the area of sharp focus that's where the eye goes. Had the foreground been in sharper focus it would have made it a little more confusing, I feel. The out of focus foreground doesn't bother me as there is nothing of real intere...

Re: Fish On The Wing

In your image ... I love that you're able to teach something then put it into practice! We may want to turn this into a post of its own! As for the rest, I really appreciate the critique and insights into how to break down an image. This was an interesting one for me with the strong lights and deep...
